Allison is a true California girl. Born and raised in San Diego, Allison made her journey to Long Beach to pursue a career in event planning industry. After graduating from California State University Long Beach, she worked in Municipal Recreation for three years before joining the Run Racing Team. She is passionate about working with others and engaging with community organizations. On the weekends you can find Allison spending time with her family and friends, baking or crafting.
Gisele did not experience “runners high” until the final year of her undergraduate studies at California State University, Long Beach. She fell in love with the sport after her first half marathon in 2008 and began to consider a career in race management. She came on board as an intern with Run Racing in February, 2012 as part of her graduate studies in Sport Management. Interacting with the running community is her favorite part of the job, along with doing “research” by participating in a variety of race events.
First and foremost I am a wife of 1 and mother of 5. If anybody told me 25 years ago, I would have 5 children and working for an event management company that puts on the Long Beach Marathon, I would have told them they were crazy. To think that I would be working at a place I absolutely loved going to everyday, seemed to be out of the question. But here I am, helping to put on some of the best running events in the world and working with some incredibly awesome people. I am not what you call a running enthusiast, but am trying hard to catch the “running bug.” If you see me at any of our events, please don’t hesitate to say hi and introduce yourself, I would love to meet you!
